In this role you will be working as part of an enthusiastic and dynamic Credit Control team, and be responsible for controlling aged debt and meeting DSO targets. Also, building and maintaining strong customer relationships.,

Credit Control of key customer accounts

To ensure the outstanding debt is collected within credit terms via email and telephone.

Build client relationships.

Responsibility for debit notes relating to price and quantity discrepancies.

Undertake account reconciliations as required.

Client query handling

Interacting with other departments, regular meetings with sales team to discuss and resolve outstanding issues.

Recommendation of credit limits to Credit Manager based on relevant information using internal guidelines.

Running daily reports on held orders and releasing orders where required.

Daily cash allocation of customer receipts.

Previous credit control experience preferably within FMCG

Numerical with a basic understanding of accounting

Computer literate with a good working knowledge of Excel

SAP experience is desirable but not essential

Excellent communication skills with the ability to deal with people at all levels

Be able to work cross functionally both internally and externally

Excellent attention to detail and able to meet strict deadlines in a fast-paced environment
