Accounts Manager based in Uxbridge, responsible for a mixed portfolio of clients and duties which will include:

Taking full management responsibility for all aspects of managing a diverse portfolio of clients.

Preparation of limited company accounts adopting FRS105, FRS102(1A) and preparation of management accounts.

Liaising with and providing general technical advice to clients for example tax-efficient remuneration planning (technical + management support will be provided as required).

Being able to work as part of a team and managing/training junior members of staff.

Liaising with the senior management to oversee the deadline management for the department.

Providing assistance and training on accounting software to clients and junior staff.

Billing, WIP management and other ad hoc responsibilities as and when required.

have practice experience of 3 + years within a small to medium sized accountancy practice.

ideally be fully qualified ACCA or ACA or be qualified by experience/be near qualification and be able to demonstrate a proven track record in practice.

be able to demonstrate excellent analytical skills with the ability to balance your workload effectively.

have the drive to progress your career and a willingness to take on challenging work.

a working knowledge of CCH - AP/Cortex (or similar) and a bookkeeping package such as xero, sage or quick books.

Be able to work effectively within a team.
