Warehouse Sales

Due to internal promotion, we have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic individual to join the team at our Consett branch, working across the warehouse and busy yard area.

The main duties for this role include:

· Keeping the yard and working areas clean and tidy.

· Attending to customers with an efficient and courteous service

· Handling incoming goods in a positive and efficient manner

· Assisting in the correct and secure loading of vehicles

· Locating stock correctly

· Helping customers with sales queries and collecting orders

· Being confident dealing with large volumes of deliveries and stock movement

· Providing excellent customer service at all times

· Previous relevant experience, ideally from a merchant background. This is preferred but not essential as training can be given to the right candidate

· Full UK driving licence.

· Forklift truck licence, although full training can be provided.

· Excellent communication skills

· Ability to work in a busy and varied role,

• Warehouse: 1 year (preferred)


• Customer service: 1 year (preferred)


Licence/Certification:

Hours of work are Monday to Friday 07.30am to 5.00pm plus alternate Saturdays 08.00am to 12.00pm.,
