An exciting opportunity has arisen for a part time permanent ward housekeeper working alongside a large multidisciplinary team.

Hogarth Ward is a 14 bedded Oncology ward within the CAS division. It specialises in the treatment of patients with side effects of their cancer, chemotherapy, radiotherapy and palliative care.

We are looking for an individual, who is enthusiastic, confident; self-motivated and possess good communication skills, enjoy a challenge and can work as part of a team.

We have a team that is both innovative and proactive in ensuring that high quality care is delivered to our patients. We are keen to encourage developments in line with Trust policy and working in new ways.

In addition to the below summary, you'll need to familiarize yourself with full Job Description and Person Specification documents attached to this advert.The successful candidate will be responsible for the ensuring the ward is stocked with the necessary equipment. You will help with the smooth running of the ward and work proactively as part of our multidisciplinary team.The successful candidate will ensure a high standard of cleanliness throughout the unit, whilst also taking responsibility for aspects of stock maintenance and control. The main elements of the role will include cleaning, keeping the ward stocked with equipment and supplies, maintenance service referrals and liaisons and being a proactive team player within the unit.The successful candidate will need to show that they can work independently as well as demonstrate effective time management skills.
