Ward Housekeeper

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a part time permanent ward housekeeper working alongside a large multidisciplinary team.

Hogarth Ward is a 14 bedded Oncology ward within the CAS division. It specialises in the treatment of patients with side effects of their cancer, chemotherapy, radiotherapy and palliative care.

We are looking for an individual, who is enthusiastic, confident; self-motivated and possess good communication skills, enjoy a challenge and can work as part of a team.

You will help with the smooth running of the ward and work proactively as part of our multidisciplinary team.The successful candidate will ensure a high standard of cleanliness throughout the unit, whilst also taking responsibility for aspects of stock maintenance and control. The main elements of the role will include cleaning, keeping the ward stocked with equipment and supplies, maintenance service referrals and liaisons and being a proactive team player within the unit.The successful candidate will need to show that they can work independently as well as demonstrate effective time management skills.
