Full Job Description

Schoeller Allibert is looking to recruit a Credit Controller reporting into the Group Credit Manager. This is a role that will be working hybrid (post 6 month probation) between site and home based, working Monday to Friday., To manage and oversee the credit control functions for the UK. The primary goal is to ensure that the company's credit and financial risk exposure are minimized while maintaining good relationships with customers.

Experience of Accounting and or risk assessment in a variety of organisations including manufacturing
Able to deal with several in projects in parallel.
Hands on and prepared to deal with detail while maintaining a management perspective.
Ability to manage projects in a diverse group across different stakeholders.
Robust personality able to deal with difficult business decisions and situations.
University degree or equivalent education and/or finance qualification

Able to work well unsupervised and demonstrate initiative.
Confident dealing with individuals at all levels in the organisation.

Expertise required:

2+ years Accounting and Credit Control experience
Previous experience of end-to-end credit control and accounts receivable processes
Working knowledge of Credit law
Staff management experience
Strong written and verbal communication skills especially during difficult customer negotiations
Ability to build relationships with multiple internal and external stakeholders
Ability to multi-task
Intermediate computer software skills, including Excel and other accounting packages
