Transport Planner - Sub Contracting

To deliver target driven Sub Contracting within the business, providing a high quality service to customers.

To effectively and continuously help manage the transport activities required under the company's Operators Licence safely and compliantly.

• Develop existing and new customer relationships.


• Work with customers and subcontractors to ensure loads reach their destination safely, on time and in the most cost effective way.


• Communicate any problems (delays etc.) to customers as soon as possible to maintain good working relationships and iron out any issues.


• Maintain and manage accurate administrative records including the TOPS system and traffic boards.


• Produce reports and identify trends.


• Assist in meeting budget expectations.


• Cover Planners during annual leave / Sickness to make sure loads reach their destination safely, on time and in the most cost effective way
