Full Job Description

  • Delivery and installation of traffic management equipment to customer sites, in line with Sunbelt Rentals standards and legislative guidelines

  • Ensuring customers are coached on the correct use of the equipment and can operate the equipment safely

  • Checking all returned traffic management equipment and completing relevant supporting documentation

  • Maintaining traffic equipment and carrying out repairs

  • Working outdoors in all weather conditions

  • Able to follow instructions and procedures and complete documentation accurately, predominantly using an electronic device

  • With a positive, friendly approach, you'll be able to communicate effectively with customers and the public

  • Reliable and self-motivated, you'll be eager to undertake training and development activities

  • A flexible approach and able to work unsocial hours, overtime and to be an on-call rota

  • A full UK driving licence is essential

  • A commitment to Health and Safety

  • Experience of working in a traffic management role would be an advantage, however full training will be provided.

We're the UK's largest portable traffic signals hire company and a leading supplier of temporary traffic management solutions. Our equipment for hire includes temporary traffic lights, variable message signs, cones, lights and barriers. We have a dedicated Traffic Call Centre and can manage all aspects of traffic projects, including site surveys and drawings, local authority approval and complete installations.
