At Todmorden High School, we are excited to be able to offer the opportunity for a Teacher of Humanities. We are seeking to appoint a dynamic and passionate Teacher of Humanities. The successful candidate will have excellent teaching skills and the ability to inspire and motivate. This is an exciting opportunity to join a school where the humanities subjects excel and are a popular choice at Key Stage 4.

At Todmorden High School, Humanities encompasses Geography, History and RE. All three departments are fully resourced and staffed by exceptional teams engaged with the latest research in the delivery of their specific subjects. Please indicate which of the three areas is your specialism or you have experience of teaching in your personal statement.

We are a small and friendly comprehensive school for 11 to 16-year-olds with 900 pupils located in the beautiful Todmorden valley. 'Todmorden High School is a welcoming and friendly school. Pupils enjoy coming to school because they feel safe, and they learn a lot. Pupils get on well with their teachers and enjoy good relationships.
