Full Job Description

What matters to the people we support matters to us. It's their life, their way.

We are looking for a patient and caring person to join our wonderful team supporting 1 gentleman who lives independently in the rural area of Worlingworth.

You will be working in his home, so it's important you can connect, share interests and be interested. The person we support enjoys a peaceful life, spending time in the garden, watching movies and loves cookies! He enjoys activities such as bowling and the occasional disco too. Experience with autism would be beneficial.

You should be available to work a variety of shifts, across the week, including alternate weekends and some sleep-in shifts as needed.

An essential part of this role is being a driver and having access to your own vehicle due to its rural location.

So, if you enjoy building meaningful relationships and think you could plan, communicate and deliver support with and alongside people, then this is the place for you.

Affinity Trust does not presently hold a Sponsorship Licence and while this status is reviewed regularly there is no present proposal to apply for such a Licence, Supporting people is really important but it's not all movies and gardening. We also support people to take medication, assist with personal care, make healthy lifestyle choices and maintain their home in a way that they feel safe, well and happy
