Full Job Description

This is an exciting role for a junior doctor to work alongside a multidisciplinary frailty team. The frailty team will be responsible for providing
comprehensive geriatric assessment, advice and expedite discharges for older people with frailty.

You will work alongside, and be supported by, a consultant geriatrician, frailty nurse consultant and a team of multidisciplinary frailty practitioners.

You will work within the Emergency Department assessing older patients who have experienced a frailty crisis leading to hospital admission. You
will also work within the inpatient liaison team, providing support for older people with frailty not admitted to geriatric medicine wards.

This post would ideally suit someone on an ST1/2 year looking for general medical experience, or someone who has completed CMT training and is
looking to specialise in geriatric medicine or a related speciality. It would also suit someone returning to medicine after a career break or someone
wanting to gain further experience of working within the NHS.
