Full Job Description

Come join our EU International Technology (INTech) team! We are seeking a passionate and innovative Sr. Product Manager - Technical (PMT) to own, define and deliver initiatives for "Circular Demand", one of our Circular Growth EU big rocks.

The mission of INTech Circular Growth is to become the top destination for customers to get maximum value from items they own, for as long as possible, and with direct environmental/financial benefits. Circular growth is about making sure that products and their related materials keep creating value in the economy for as long as possible before reaching landfills, hence minimizing the environmental impact directly related to products consumers buy. This is one of the most strategic and complex shifts for the retail industry, which is fueled by EU consumers, but also via compliance mandates e.g. through environmental badging.

Within "Circular Growth", the goal of the "Circular Demand" charter is to influence customer purchasing behavior and help them shift buying patterns to 'more' long-lasting and sustainable selection through meaningful interactions at any point of the purchase journey. This space is new and exciting for Amazon to champion beyond the regulatory requirements around Circular Economy in EU with the potential of scaling it WW. It touches end consumer experience, as well as seller and vendor experience with a direct impact on the P&L.

This is a role for a strategic thinker. As product owner, your work will span the full product lifecycle, from identifying customer needs, to developing product strategy, goals, and backlog, to experimentation, evaluating results, and launching. You will work in close partnership with our software engineers, business and operations stakeholders, and worldwide partner technical teams to define and deliver end-to-end customer experiences. Our space has some challenging problems, and a number of complex tech partnerships, and hence requires someone who is deeply technical, adept at building relationships, and comfortable with a high degree of ambiguity., You will be responsible for:

- Articulating product vision and value proposition for the charter.
- Working backwards from EU customers to build, manage, and deliver the charter roadmap.
- Working with Amazon leaders globally to define solutions for EU needs
- Influencing technical priorities and business strategy through data-driven contributions, working directly with business stakeholders, engineering managers, engineers, and designers.
- Driving product discussions as well as commissioning market research, usability studies, and focus groups.
- Developing product plans with clear measurable success criteria, using mechanisms and metrics for KPIs, funnels, conversion, and awareness.
- Supporting branding and marketing of your product.

Bachelor's degree
- Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
- Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
- Experience in technical product management, program management or engineering
- Experience with end to end product delivery
- Experience leading engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product
- Experience influencing business decisions using data, You can raise the bar on customer-obsessed thinking, at an EU and global scale.
- You can crisply communicate your ideas and vision to all levels of the company, both verbally and in writing.
- You thrive on data, a statement that is not supported by data is just another opinion.
- You are brave, have persistence and grit, never hesitate to challenge the status quo.
- You are curious, can dive into technical detail, and ask engineers insightful questions about the services and systems you influence.
- You are a self-starter who is able to work in an environment of high complexity and ambiguity.
- You think long-term, can balance diverse and conflicting customer needs, and converge on outcomes that earn customer loyalty.
- You break down the big picture into actionable goals and deliver them.

Successful applicants will have experience delivering products, leading cross-functional teams, and communicating to a large number of diverse stakeholders.
