Full Job Description

RESPONSIBLE FOR: Delivering effective care. Promoting social inclusion, promote independent living skills and to provide care and support to service users.

GENERAL DUTIES:

Promote good health and wellbeing with the service user.
To encourage social inclusion.
Participate in activities with service users.
Follow individual service user's care and support plan.
Support service users to access the community and take part in stimulating activities
Safely administer medication to service users (if required) and support those who are able to self-medicate.
To support service users to maintain and increase their skills.
Assist service user's in meeting cultural needs.
Maintain a safe environment for all service users, staff and visitors to the service wherever possible.
Complete and maintain all relevant documentation with regards to service users and / or required by Deaconstar.
Undergo required training programmes to promote knowledge.
Provide a high standard of support and understanding to all our service users and any issues they may present.
