Special Educational Needs (SEN) Child Chaperone

We are seeking a compassionate and reliable individual to serve as a chaperone for a special educational needs (SEN) child during transportation to and from Friday tuition sessions. The chaperone will accompany the child and the tutor, ensuring a safe and comfortable journey to the tuition location. This role primarily involves providing support and reassurance to the child during transit and waiting for them to finish their session and return.,

• Accompany the SEN child and tutor in a taxi to and from the tuition location on Fridays.


• Ensure the safety and well-being of the child throughout the journey.


• Provide emotional support and reassurance to the child during transit.


• Communicate effectively with the tutor regarding any specific needs or concerns of the child.


• Maintain professionalism and confidentiality at all times.
  
  EM Tuition is a non-profit provider of training and tuition and has historically supported disadvantaged children, whether at school, at home or in private tuition.


We are working alongside Suffolk County Council, providing support for children and young people with barriers to learning and also provide tuition as part of the National Tutoring Programme with schools.
