Full Job Description

Your normal hours of work are 40 hours per week, 4 days a week. Due to the particular needs of the business we need to operate a rota system, therefore there are no normal times of work applicable to you and your daily hours, start and finish times will vary from time to time on a rota system. The rota operates Monday to Friday inclusive. In addition, you may also be required to participate in a weekend rota and/or an out of hour., We have 2 VetGDP Advisors who will support you throughout your first few months, but all our Vets and Nurses will provide whatever ongoing support you need. We will start you with a small number of half hour 'simple' consultations, increasing the number and complexity as your confidence and competence builds. Your first surgical procedures will be working one on one with one of our experienced Vets. We hope that once you are 6 months into your role, you will have developed excellent basic skills in consultations, diagnostics and surgery, however, if it takes longer for you to feel confident, then that's ok!
