Sheet Metal Worker / Fabricator

Due to further expansion we are looking to grow our team of specialized sheet metal worker / fabricators at our facilities in Jarrow - NE32 3QS.

Working alongside a small, dedicated team of 6 sheet metal workers / fabricators your job role will develop into being able to fabricate LEV / filtration systems & associated products designed in house by the company.

Our philosophy is simple - We'll take you from you current level of training / abilities & maximise your potential with a dedicated training programme / onsite support & all the equipment you'll need to achieve this.

All of our projects are bespoke, varied & interesting.

The Job Role:

• Fabricating bespoke duct systems, small steel brackets / supports, filter / fan units, small structural platforms in various materials.


• Fabricating jobs to an acceptable quality standard using engineering drawings / works instructions.
  
  Experience of MIG & TIG welding advantageous however training will be provided.


• Experience in site installation work advantageous but not essential.


• Experience in stainless steel fabrication advantageous but not essential.


• Drivers & FLT licence advantageous but not essential.


The candidate:

• Minimum 5 years' Experience / time served.


• Conscientious with a keen eye for the smaller details.


• Punctual & a willingness to learn new skills.


• Experience using general fabrication workshop equipment - Guillotine, press break, bending rolls, welders, folders, punches etc.


• Able to work individually or within a small team of sheet metal workers / fabricators.


• Must have own tool box / hand tools.
