Full Job Description

We have a fantastic opportunity for two Senior Site Supervisor to join our successful Facilities Management team. It is essential that you have a certified relevant trade (plumbing, joinery, electrical etc) this is a requirement of the role. You will be responsible for supporting the self-delivery of specialist hard FM services to our client in accordance with the latest British EN and SFG20 standards. You will be covering sites across the North West (mainly Lancashire / Manchester areas).

What you'll be doing:

  • Undertaking the day to day duties associated with maintenance

  • Undertake Building surveys with respect to Facilities Maintenance requirements with a focus on mechanical and electrical assets and systems.

  • Provide supervision, support and guidance to the team of Facilities Support Officers and sub-contractors

  • Contribute, as part of the EWFM operational team to the professional development of the Facilities Support Officers, including delivering tool box talks

  • Support the Helpdesk with the planning of reactive and planned maintenance.

  • Ensuring all equipment used is done so to Company and/or manufacturers standards

  • Maintain all documentation in accordance with ISO 9001:2000 standards

  • Ensure compliance with Company and client Health, Safety and Environmental rules.

  • Report any accidents, near misses, health and safety or environmental issues to the Helpdesk

  • Support the contracts with PPM's and reactive works as appropriate (with support from contractors where required)

  • Supervision of external contractors on site and check off completions

  • Be a the key customer link between Contractors and EWFM on project work

  • Report any issues, defects and reactive works to the AFM & Helpdesk

  • Issue permits and inductions at a site level as required.

    Aligned to our ethos and values, you will have previous experience of leading and motivating a team. Experience of SFG20 is essential along with having experience / qualification in Electrical / Plumbing / Joinery. Health and Safety knowledge is essential, in particular knowledge of fire management control and working at heights. You will be customer focused, a confident communicator ensuring that the requirements of our client are delivered.


  • Ideally you'll have:
  • Previous Supervisory Experience required

  • A good knowledge of Health & Safety, particularly in relation to fire management control, and working at heights.

  • Good communication skills

  • A full Driving Licence

  • Adhere to company policies, be customer focused and able to communicate in a customer friendly manner

  • Undergo DBS checks, as these contracts have members of the public in attendance

  • Water Management qualification

  • Previous experience in the service and maintenance of a broad category of assets, to include passive fire protection, water management (L8) heating / cooling systems etc.

  • The use of Microsoft Office, Excel and Teams


  • This role is subject to an Enhanced DBS check.
