Full Job Description

The Performance and Analysis function is responsible for supporting the Management team in the safety & compliance aspects of the TUI Operations Control Centre (TOCC) and all their functions across the 5 AOCs.

As the TOCC Senior Safety & Compliance Co-Ordinator you will work as a key member of the Operational Planning department, you will be responsible for monitoring Safety and Compliance standards across the TOCC through continuous improvement of processes and working with Stakeholders across all areas to understand how this can be achieved. This role will be responsible for being one of the subject matter experts and sharing knowledge in regulatory, UK CAA, IOSA and EASA requirements, including any changes, and ensuring that colleagues across the TOCC are kept aware of any regulatory changes and what this means for them in their day-to-day roles.

In this role, you'll report to the TOCC Performance and Analysis Manager., As TOCC Senior Safety & Compliance Co-Ordinator you'll be responsible for:

  • Manage and assist the Department Quality System (DQS) self-auditing process for TOCC, facilitating continuous improvement of procedures through review and feedback.

  • Provide expertise and support to Departmental Quality Representatives across airlines, ensuring alignment and improvement.

  • Ensure TOCC teams have current procedural and operational instructions by continually reviewing and updating the TOCC Procedures Manual.

  • Maintain compliance with timelines and priorities, overseeing and completing departmental audits on schedule.

  • Ensure AOC compliance for TOCC, consistently meeting regulatory requirements for TUI Airline.

  • Participate in projects and initiatives to improve standards and performance across TOCC.

  • Proactively monitor and assess regulatory requirements (IOSA, EASA, national authorities) for TOCC compliance.

  • Lead review cycles, recommend process changes based on regulatory updates, and oversee implementation.

  • Chair meetings in absence of Performance and Analysis Manager, ensuring stakeholder alignment and timely follow-up.

  • Investigate internal safety reports, identify trends, and discuss findings with management for necessary actions.

  • Monitor and escalate action items, ensuring resolution and barrier removal.

  • Represent TOCC at Safety Action Groups, providing updates on safety investigations and broader analysis.

  • Share knowledge and collaborate with AOC Safety and Compliance Teams to ensure effective safety practices.

  • Previous experience in Safety & Compliance within an Operational Airline environment is essential.

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

  • Proficient in IT systems, adaptable to evolving technologies.

  • Commercially and financially aware with aviation operational, technical, and regulatory knowledge.

  • Capable of collecting, analysing, and presenting data.

  • Understanding of Safety Management systems and root cause analysis is beneficial.
