Senior Legal Counsel

As Senior Legal counsel and member of the Process Automation Regional legal team in Europe, ensure comprehensive support to the assigned Process Automation businesses.

This is a position with global grade

Your responsibilities

  • Develop close working relationships with the internal customers and stakeholders including the senior leadership team.

  • Provide multiple jurisdiction experience and cross border legal support including providing advice and support on the laws of England and Wales across the Process Automation Business Area.

  • Participate and give assistance in contracts, agreements, consortium and Joint Venture.

  • Review bids, negotiations, contracts, policies and other legal documents from vendors, customers and other third parties ensuring compliance with policies.

  • Support business in managing contractual claims.

  • Participate in and promote activities to ensure employees conduct business in compliance with the directives and the local laws.

  • Implement the compliance/integrity Group program.

  • Provide training to employees on contractual matters.

  • Raise and defend litigation matters brought against the company using relevant external experts.

  • Ensure that all external legal advice is provided in a cost-effective way.


  • Your background

  • Bachelor of Law degree essential.

  • Admitted as a solicitor of England and Wales and holding a current practicing certificate.

  • Proven working experience in a major corporation and/or in a leading law firm.

  • Self-motivated and being able to progressively work with autonomy.

  • Team spirited, solution orientated and with pragmatic approach.

  • Good interpersonal and communication skills and being able to work effectively with business clients.
