Senior Health & Safety Consultant

Due to this continued success, they are now looking to appoint a Senior CDM Advisor to join their established safety team and oversee a diverse portfolio of property & construction projects across the North East of England.

Our client typically work on a range of iconic and groundbreaking projects within the residential, healthcare, commercial, retail, sport, leisure, industrial, hotel, student accommodation, manufacturing, office and university sectors. The role would suit someone who has worked for a main contractor or consultancy offering a range of H&S/ CDM services, someone who is confident dealing with various stakeholders and able to deliver on multi-million pound projects.

Duties:

• Offer a variety of health & safety/ CDM services to a diverse client base.


• Familiar with all associated documentation relating to CDM 2015 e.g CPPs, PCIs, H&S file etc. and that the documents are updated on a regular basis.


• Liaise with various stakeholders on projects client, principal contractor, architect and keep them updated in relation to H&S/ CDM matters.


• Ensure that RAMS are in place for each project.


• Carry out site inspections and accident investigations when required.


• Develop client relationships and build new ones.
  
  NEBOSH Construction or NEBOSH General or equivalent.


• NEBOSH Fire (desirable).


• NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent (desirable but not essential).


• Member to IOSH, APS, IIRSM or a similar professional body.


• Excellent working knowledge of 2015 CDM Regulations.


• Good knowledge of the BSA changes affecting the industry.


• Excellent interpersonal communication skills.


• Full UK driving license.
