Full Job Description

The Senior CRM and Operations Manager plays a crucial role within THG Ingenuity, tasked with leading our marketing operations and enhancing the efficiency and impact of our CRM and marketing automation platforms. The ideal candidate will be focused on operational excellence, committed to support alignment between marketing and sales, and adept at using data to guide strategic decisions, all while maintaining compliance and data integrity.

This role will report to the Head of Vertical Marketing and will manage 1 direct report.,

  • Leadership in marketing operations: Take charge of our marketing operations functions, overseeing our marketing workflows and daily operations to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.

  • Process automation and streamlining: Spearhead the automation and optimization of our marketing operation processes, aiming for a seamless and efficient marketing workflow.

  • CRM and marketing automation: Ensure that our CRM and marketing automation platforms are perfectly aligned with the customer journey, enhancing customer engagement and satisfaction.

  • MarTech stack management: Evaluate and advise on our current Martech stack, identifying areas for improvement, for executing marketing and demand generation campaigns, ensuring they meet our objectives.

  • Zoho roadmap ownership: Manage the technology implementation process with a focus on owning and executing our CRM, Zoho, roadmap, ensuring timely and effective deployment.

  • Lead management strategy: Design and implement robust lead management processes, from strategy through execution, to nurture and convert leads effectively.

  • Lead scoring: Refine our lead scoring system to prioritise and manage leads more efficiently, driving better alignment between marketing and sales.

  • Data quality and compliance: Oversee data quality, including compliance and risk assessments, working with our Data team to ensure data integrity and security across all marketing operations.

  • Sales and marketing alignment: Work closely with the sales team to ensure a cohesive approach between marketing and sales, fostering a unified strategy for market penetration and customer acquisition.

  • Performance reporting: Report on key marketing metrics, including Marketing MQLs, SQLs, SQOs, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.

  • Lead marketing operations team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and collaboration.

    Proven experience in relevant B2B marketing operations, demonstrating a strong background in managing marketing workflows, CRM platforms, and marketing automation tools.

  • Thorough understanding of B2B MarTech solutions, with a keen insight into how these technologies can be leveraged to drive marketing success.

  • Demonstrated experience in the strategy, design, and execution of lead management processes, including lead scoring and the lead management, and reporting.

  • Proven track record of managing tech implementation, preferably working with Zoho CRM, and other Zoho Products.

  • Demonstrated leadership skills with experience managing and inspiring teams to achieve their best performance.

  • Strong communication skills, capable of working effectively with cross-functional teams and ensuring alignment between marketing and sales to achieve common goals.

  • Project management capabilities, able to lead multiple initiatives while meeting deadlines.

  • A natural curiosity for all things related to MarTech, always on the lookout for new and innovative tools that can enhance marketing efficiency and effectiveness.

  • An analytical mindset, with the ability to dissect complex data sets and provide actionable insights. The candidate should aim to become a reference point within the company for marketing reporting and data analysis.
