Highly motivated individual required to join Bolsover District Council's busy Finance Team.

We are looking to fill the post of Senior Accountancy Assistant - General Fund. The successful candidate will be part of the accountancy team, playing a key role in the final accounts and budget setting process.
We are looking for:
+ an AAT qualified Accountant (or equivalent, or working towards level 4) with knowledge of local government accounting and a good understanding of final accounts and financial management processes.
+ a proven practical experience of working in a finance environment, with specific experience of carrying out financial reconciliations, preparing budgets and undertaking budget monitoring.
+ good communication and interpersonal skills.
+ the ability to work to tight deadlines while being able to manage competing deadlines and can prepare management information.

Based at the main Council Offices at The Arc in Clowne.
