Full Job Description

You'll hold key responsibility for all aspects of leading and managing SEN and wider inclusive provision across the school, including data analysis, supporting planning and implementation of interventions and strategies for SEN pupils alongside the Senior Leadership Team, and monitoring day-to-day operations with regards to the SEN policy and provision.

You'll also contribute to evaluation and review processes that are in place, providing further guidance to teaching staff with delivering provision to SEN students and modelling successful inclusive strategies to promote high levels of achievement.

  • Qualified Teacher Status or equivalent alongside an Honours degree

  • Essential experience within team leadership and implementation of SEN policies

  • A sound knowledge of Child Safeguarding and the SEN code of practice

  • Ability to plan and evaluate interventions, using data analysis skills to review EHCP pupils and inform plans for provision

  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills

    Our Trust consists of 9 settings: Woodland's Nursery on the Ruishton site, Little Heron's Nursery on the West Monkton site. Selworthy Special School is split into four sites: Oakhill Campus provides specialist provision for primary aged learners, Hazelbrook Campus provides specialist provision for secondary aged learners, The Grove provides specialist provision for sixth form, The Cove provides support for a small number of learners to access mainstream school at Court Fields Secondary School We have four Primary schools: Blackbrook Community Primary School, West Monkton C of E Primary School, Stoke St Gregory C of E Primary School, Ruishton C of E Primary School. Hill View is a new SEMH all through school opening in September 2024 Whilst all parts of society, including education, have been through a really tough time, we have found at The Oak Partnership Trust that we have grown together and learnt to strengthen our collaboration so that we are better able to match our purpose,
    achieve our mission and move towards our vision.
