Full Job Description

At OCS Group, we are recruiting a Security Officer to join our team who will be responsible for protecting the security and safety of the identified buildings and personnel at a busy client site. Ensure that assigned tasks are completed in a professional and timely manner and meet relevant legislation.,

  • Lock and unlock the centre and car park at the designated times.

  • Regularly patrol the centre car park at the agreed times.

  • Assist and advise the public and visitors with their needs.

  • Maintaining a safe and secure environment and delivering first aid where required.

  • Manage the traffic flow through the center and car park at busier times, if necessary.

  • Deal with queries and resolve problems. CCTV queries to go to the Control Room.

  • Assisting retailers to deter crime and managing undesirable individuals, sometimes dealing with conflict.

  • Observing and reporting criminal activity along with completion of appropriate incident reports.

  • Working with various stakeholders such as the BID, Council, or police to ensure a safe shopping center.

    To succeed in this role you will need the following:An SIA license is essential, and a DS/SG License

  • CCTV Licence would be desirable/advantageous

  • First Aid and be computer literate

  • Excellent customer service skills and Good communication skills
