Full Job Description

  • Operate within a fast-paced agile environment as part of a scrum team

  • Estimate own technical deliverables accurately and support the team with accurate estimation to help manage change effectively

  • Provide a deep understanding across a broad range of Microsoft 365 technologies

  • Troubleshoot complex problems, including preview and early adopter technologies, with a determination to understanding root cause

  • Act as a technical lead on complex projects from design through to service transition

  • Lead with an automation-first mindset and challenge others to do the same

    3yrs+ experience as a security engineer or equivalent role

  • Knowledge of security compliance standards including Cyber Essentials, GDPR, ISO 27001 and NIST.

  • Understand the MITRE ATT&CK framework

  • Current experience with Microsoft 365 technology as this is an engineering role where you will be expected to do hands on engineering

  • Deep understanding of Microsoft Intune, Azure Virtual Desktop, Modern Device Management, Mobile Application Management, Security Baselines, Conditional Access etc

  • Proficient in the configuration of Exchange Online, SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams, Power Platform, Information Protection, Web Filtering, and Private Access technologies. Deep understanding of related modern workplace technologies within the Defender suite such as Defender for Office, Defender for Endpoint and Defender for Cloud Apps

  • Proven record of accomplishment of delivering complex change within an engineering role, collaborating with Architecture, Engineering and Operations teams
