Safety Auditor (2331) Benefits

The Safety Auditor is responsible for supporting the development and delivery of the GTR safety audit programme, through undertaking audits in accordance with the plan and supporting external audits where required. In addition, you will undertake investigations where required. You will identify and communicate areas of good practice and provide advice by way of recommendations for improvements - working closely with relevant stakeholders across GTR. You will support the management of the GTR safety risk register and provide general safety advice where required.

Some of the duties to include:-

• Ensure that all recommendations for enquiries, audits and industry standards are cross-referenced


• Review reports from other parties such as RAIB and Network Rail for learning points that could be applicable to GTR, support development of briefing material.


• Complete special audits and investigations as and when requested.

Do you hold a NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent (or be prepared to work towards)?
