Full Job Description

  • The Registered Nurse is responsible for the monitoring of the health, clinical wellness and safety of the residents.


    • Reports to: Registered Care Manager

    Responsible for:
  • The Registered Nurse is responsible for overall safety and well-being of the residents.

  • The Registered Nurse is responsible for supervising and training of care assistant team members on all aspects of care delivery and service provision.

  • The Registered Nurse is responsible for communication with all resident support services and families with regards to residents' health issues.

  • The Registered Nurse is responsible for administering and documenting medication to residents within the Optima Care Nursing Home.

  • The Registered Nurse is responsible for resident admission assessments; care plan and base line observations including medication optimisation.

  • The Registered Nurse is responsible for all quality assurance and regulatory compliance while delivering Nursing services.

  • The Registered Nurse is responsible for completing any necessary training and becoming knowledgeable in Optima Care Partnership policies and procedures and CQC compliance.

  • The Registered Nurse should be familiar with the homes Statement of Purpose.
