Full Job Description

Sunderland City Council is looking to recruit a highly motivated Team Manager to work alongside the Principal Social Worker, Principal Occupational Therapist and Learning and Development Co-Ordinator to lead on quality assurance activities; to ensure the implementation and monitoring of Adult Social Care quality and performance frameworks and ensure that practice within adult services is high performing and constantly improving.

We strive for excellence and are proud to work collaboratively and in partnership with customers, carers and multi-agency partners to improve practice and obtain assurance of delivery.

You will contribute to the effective leadership, management, and development of Adult Social Care services, which provide excellent outcomes for customers, and will take an active role in inter-professional and inter-agency working, building your own professional network and collaborative working across other organisations.

We will be happy to receive applications from individuals with significant experience of working within Adult Services support environment. Significant experience of senior or middle management or leadership in health or social care services, with the ability to implement change underpinned by professional practice and skills in managing and resolving blocks/barriers at practice level.
