An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated individual to undertake the role as the Quality Assurance Lead in the Clinical Governance and Risk Department. Working within a supportive team of senior managers you will lead the Quality Assurance and Clinical Effectiveness Team in the delivery of Trust priorities linked to Quality and Safety.
This is a key corporate leadership role within the Trust, which provides an excellent opportunity to drive the Quality Agenda throughout the newly implemented Quality and Safety Governance Framework. You will have the opportunity to work closely with clinical teams, providing advice and guidance to ensure the delivery of clinically effective and high quality care to patients.

Please expand the job details section and read all of the information before applying for the vacancy., The Quality Assurance Lead will undertake a key leadership role within the organisation, being visible and working closely with senior clinical leaders, managers and frontline staff in ward and team settings to develop and influence high quality care.
The post holder will lead the development, implementation and monitoring of practice through audit of National and local Trust policies, protocols and guidelines. They will prepare reports for Board and other reports as required to demonstrate assurance, progress and improvement in the provision of high standards of care.
The successful candidate will work closely with the Head of Quality Assurance and Clinical Effectiveness to support delivery of objectives aligned to the trust quality and effectiveness agenda. They will also undertake line management of designated roles with the Clinical Governance and Risk Department, ensuring all staff are clear about their job role and expectations and have clear objectives and ensure appraisals and development reviews are carried out in line with Trust policies., + The post holder will support the Head of Quality Assurance and Clinical Effectiveness in leading, developing and coordinating systems to provide on-going assurance of quality of care and clinical effectiveness, including:

The Quality Assurance Lead will support the Head of Quality Assurance and Clinical Effectiveness in leading, developing and coordinating systems to provide ongoing assurance of quality of care and clinical effectiveness, including the Quality Strategy, the Quality Account and national CQUIN scheme.
The successful candidate will lead the Quality Assurance and Clinical Effectiveness Team to ensure robust processes in regards to compliance and assurance of standards aligned with National Clinical Audit, NICE Guidance and recommendations made by external agency reports and accreditations.
The post holder will be a visible leader and role model within the organisation to engage staff and enable the delivery of improved quality of care for patients and carers.
