Full Job Description

Peace Recruitment’s client, a market leading Architecture practice with a reputation for excellence in the architecture industry are looking to strengthen their senior team in Manchester with a project running Architect.


Our client provides comprehensive services across the residential, commercial, education and leisure sectors to a diverse portfolio of clients. In this role you can expect to work on a mixed portfolio but a bias towards residential.


The Project Architect hired will play a critical role in managing a portfolio of residential projects, providing exceptional service to both the practice and the end client. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual with strong project leadership skills and a passion for design to take the next step in their career with excellent progression potential.


Key responsibilities:

  • Overseeing the day to day running of a portfolio of residential projects, including large scale later living developments and large scale flatted developments.
  • Building and maintaining positive relationships with colleagues, clients and other professionals involved in your projects.
  • Creating designs and technical drawings using Revit to ensure smooth design.
  • Delivering projects across all RIBA stages from concept to completion, including participating in design team meetings and liaising directly with clients.
  • Conducting regular site visits and overseeing the delivery process. Troubleshooting any problems as they arise and creating innovative solutions.
  • Monitoring finances of a project to ensure that it remains within budget.
  • Providing strategic advice to colleagues and clients on design related matters.

Qualifications:

  • ARB registered
  • Minimum of 3 years post ARB experience working in an Architecture practice in the UK.
  • Strong understanding of local regulations including building standards and planning regulations.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to prioritise tasks, work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency in software such as Revit.
