Full Job Description

Join our Finance team supporting our Energy Automation and Systems business within Siemens. We have an exciting opportunity to work in a diverse and challenging environment where you will be responsible for the provision of finance and commercial data, supporting all Operations and Engineering teams, Project Managers, under the guidance of the Solutions Finance Lead.,

  • Management of the Finance and Commercial aspects of POC projects


  • Monthly Financial review meeting preparation and presentation


  • Budgeting, planning and coordinating of forecasts


  • Driving and assisting the Project Managers, and engineering team


  • Risk register maintenance, ownership and drive to mitigation with key stakeholders


  • Strong commercial support and review with Tendering


  • Ensuring the governance of NCRs and NCCs is applied appropriately.


  • Maintenance and completion of management reporting


  • Ensure that Corporate / Divisional guidelines and controls are effectively deployed to optimise results and minimise risks to the Business Area / Division.


  • Ensure that the Divisional risk management methodology is effectively deployed and that any significant risks/issues within the business are brought to the attention of the Business Area / Divisional management in a professional and timely manner.


  • Providing Contractual Advice to Project Teams.


  • Ensure that agreed processes are effectively deployed and reviewed regularly for potential improvement and Best Practice sharing and wherever practical ensure a uniform and consistent approach within the Business Area / Division.


  • Establish and develop relationships with key external and internal partners - customers, suppliers, Siemens plc. Corporate, Siemens AG etc.


  • Signatory authority in line with Divisional Signature Protocol


  • You're excited to build on your existing expertise, including

  • Ideally Part Qualified CIMA


  • The candidate will have some relevant working experience


  • Experience within Siemens and working with POC projects


  • Good Customer management & relationship skills is also a prerequisite


  • Excellent numerical skills and the ability to interpret project accounting guidelines as well as a high level of competence in the interpretation of Contractual Conditions.


  • Working independently as well as within teams is required.


  • Working to strict deadlines


  • Working on multiple projects
