Full Job Description

  • To work as part of a dynamic specialist Clinical Procurement and Market Management team within Arden and GEM Commissioning Support Service (AG CSU).

  • To deliver strategic Clinical Procurements and Market Management services in line with best practice guidance under the regulation for NHS England, leading on specific projects within a portfolio of projects/programmes that delivers high value, improved patient care and cost efficiency savings across the CSU customer base.

  • Assist the Senior Procurement Manager in the delivery of the annual work plan ensuring performance to key milestones and agreed key performance indicators are achieved., Design and deliver specialist training, advice and guidance on the regulations and the use of the e-tendering tools to customers, evaluators and subject matter experts to support evaluation and market testing processes.

  • To support the delivery of clinical procurements within a portfolio of projects/ programme that delivers high value, improved patient care and cost efficiency savings across the CSU customer base.

  • Use of e-tendering tools to support procurements and to become an expert within this field.
