- be a qualified teacher with QTS

Connect Education are working with a number of Primary Schools across the Newcastle, North Tyneside and Northumberland areas, who are actively seeking experienced and flexible Primary School Teachers on long, medium and short term supply basis. - North Tyneside, Tyne and Wear: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
- QTS (preferred)
The work we have is from Early Years up to Key Stage 2 along with Intervention and PPA cover. Ideally you will be experienced or an ECT who feels confident teaching in different environments and can build relationships quickly with pupils and staff. In each school you will be supported by senior management and staff members.
The work on offer is very flexible and works to your availability and preferences. Many schools use the same supply teachers once they have built a relationship with you, so work is always available and if you are wanting to get longer term/permanent work we can offer this. We've worked with a number of Primary School Teachers who we have assisted in securing permanent employment.
If you're an ECT and wanting to get more experience before choosing the right school for you, supply work can be great, as it gives you an insight into working in different schools and can also help you with securing longer term employment.
