Full Job Description

Support 1:1 in home with all aspects of daily living including preparing meals, activities and personal care, administration of medication, bedtime routine.
Support required is 2:1 when out in the community.

A Mature outlook.
Be a car driver.
Be available to cover 5 days per week (or part of) including weekends.
Be experienced and qualified in learning difficulties.
Have a caring nature.
Be a good communicator.
Have an interest in music / play instruments.
Be able to meet the physical requirements of the role.

This is a non-smoking position and preference will be given to those who are fully vaccinated due to client being clinically vulnerable.

Further Information: An Enhanced Certificate of Disclosure (DBS) will be obtained for the successful candidate and carried out by Northumberland County Council.

Training: Where it is required, such as Health and Safety, Medication, First Aid, shadowing other PA's and practical training and guidance will be arranged as part of the induction process. Some on-line training will also be required.
