Full Job Description

You will be required to provide support to the Drama, Music and Dance department.

You will be responsible for:

  • Providing support to the teaching team by preparing a range of materials, equipment and tools that will be used in lessons.

  • Providing support to students during lessons and extra-curricular workshops in the use of equipment and resources (i.e. demonstrating how to use lighting and sound equipment or resources).

  • Preparing specialist equipment/resources/materials for both school and hire productions, ensuring all resources are set up appropriately within strict timescales

  • Ensuring Health and Safety standards are upheld at all times

  • Ordering stock and managing stock levels

    4 or more GCSEs at Grade C or above (or equivalent) including Maths and English

  • Experience in a similar role (this does not have to be paid experience)

  • Knowledge of health and safety processes and procedures

  • Team player
