Join Our Team as a Payroll Assistant at Bluebird Care Newcastle, South Tyneside, Darlington, and York., We are looking for part time Payroll Assistant to join our finance team working 25 hours p/w. Earn between £18,243.00 and £20,270.00 per annum (£27,000 - £30,000 per annum full time equivalent)., Are you passionate about payroll and dedicated to accuracy? We're seeking a dynamic Payroll Assistant to join our team, working from our Head Office at Boldon Business Park., End-to-End Payroll Management: Process monthly payrolls for various staff groups across different locations, utilizing timesheets from our advanced rostering system and seamlessly integrating them into Brightpay software.

Pension and Auto-Enrolment Management: Expertly manage auto-enrolment duties and ensure pension compliance throughout the organization. Facilitate setup of pension schemes with multiple providers, provide accurate calculations, and efficiently distribute necessary data.

Timely Compliance: Ensure all PAYE/NIC and pension payments are submitted punctually, maintaining adherence to regulatory deadlines.

Holiday Entitlement Oversight: Effectively manage staff holiday entitlements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.

Support to Finance Manager: Collaborate with the Finance Manager to complete month-end payroll reconciliations in a timely manner. Additionally, assist with ad hoc accounts admin tasks as required.

Payroll Proficiency: Previous experience in payroll administration is essential, coupled with outstanding numeracy skills and meticulous attention to detail.

Independence and Initiative: Ability to independently manage various payrolls end-to-end, demonstrating proactive problem-solving skills.

Technical Competence: While familiarity with Brightpay software is preferred, proficiency in Microsoft Office suites, particularly Excel and Outlook, is essential. Knowledge of Bacs payment processes, statutory payments, and NMW obligations is highly advantageous.

Continuous Learning: Commitment to regular training to stay abreast of payroll legislation changes and maintain compliance.
