We have a full time, permanent wood machinist vacancy.

The pay is £12.34 - £13.34/hour OTE pay depending on experience. This includes average 3 monthly profit share bonus scheme (which normally averages 50p/hour dependent on company profits). The basic pay is £11.84/hour. 25 days holiday plus bank holidays. Opportunity for overtime when we're busy (x 1.5 pay). The pay rate increases every year on 1st April.

The role in our Laminate and Veneer department involves using machines such as straight and profile edgebanders, a hot press, edge sanders, mitre saw, hand routers and orbital sanders with the opportunity to operate more machines as your skills develop.

Some woodworking or manufacturing experience is necessary and training will be given on our standards and processes. We manufacture hardwood, laminate and veneer tables for several markets including many well known restaurants, cafes and universities.
