  • The Network Operations Control Officer is responsible for the Load Control function with a high level of focus on safety, on time departure, maximum capacity utilisation, fuel optimisation and extra load device (ELD) loading to ensure the efficient operation of the EU and Intercontinental air network. In this role you will also be responsible for the management of inbound/outbound data transmissions, crew liaison/fuel coordination and flight watch functions.

    Load Control:
  • Plan available ULDs in line with Global Airside Safety Manual (GSAM) requirements.

  • Optimise load planning in order to achieve density and fuel optimisation targets. Coordinate on time build-up of ULDs by the reloads in order to maximise uplift and contribute to on time departure performance.

  • Ensure ELDs are loaded in line with daily loading instructions received by EU/EMA ULD Control.


  • Crew Liaison/Fuel Coordination:
  • Provide a courteous and professional service to airline crews and jump seat passengers. Coordinate safe/priority fuelling of aircraft on ground with third party vendor.


  • Flight Watch:
  • Monitor the arrival/departure times of all air movements and capture delay codes that reflect the scenario on the ground.

  • Capture NSI checkpoints for all departure/arrival delays >30 minutes.

  • Provide clear and concise details of reported delays for publication to the wider network.


  • Network Planning Group:
  • Daily execution of plans published by NPG and feedback any issues/discrepancies.

  • Acknowledgement and implementation of Network Routing Updates (NRU).

  • Report on performance at flight level.


  • EU Real Time Capacity Management:
  • Collaborate to ferry material in to/out of EMA in order to maximise available air capacity.

  • Contribute to daily reporting of material on hold.

  • Seek approval for additional ULDs above allocation early.


  • Air Capacity Sales:
  • Ensure guaranteed ACS product is uplifted as per commitment to customer.

  • Ensure voids are filled with ACS material on hand.

  • Generate additional revenue through creation of commercial opportunities for guaranteed product sales.


  • Management:
  • Requests will be made by the capacity Control Officer to action any reasonable request however any issues are to be escalated to the Supervisor/Manager for resolution.


  • You'll bring to this role:
  • Mass & Balance Trained, Aerologic/Advanced ULD Trained (preferred - expectation to complete if role successfully attained).

  • Strong AHS/BRUHUB4/RUM/NMIV/SABLE knowledge.

  • Ability to use MS Office Applications - Outlook Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint (Basic/Intermediate)

  • Experience in EMA HUB. Previous experience in the Sort/Ramp/NOC Operation is desirable.
