Full Job Description

Working closely with the senior supervisors; you would be an integral part of what is a small and close-knit team. The role is multi-disciplined working across all the different facets of the business - supervision, licensing and bespoke composition. There is a core music creative element but also requires a keen understanding of music rights, great communication, attention to administrative detail and the genuine ability to work as part of a team. You would be working with existing clients and also expected to help develop new business opportunities. As with every small business, the ability to multitask and work across a variety of different things is essential.

We offer some flexibility with hours and hybrid work but our preference is for employees to be in our Chiswick office 4 days a week. There also is an expectation you will be keen to attend evening gigs and networking events, as well developing in-person working relationships with clients and rightsholders.

The role will be best suited to someone with a great ear, outgoing personality, that is self-motivated with a strong drive to succeed. We are very open to applicants from both music and gaming industries. Our business has grown significantly over the last 10 years and there is a huge opportunity to become a key part of the team and grow with the business.

What we need from you:

Account & Project Management

Dealing with game developers, publishers, trailer houses to manage individual projects and overall relationships. Managing briefs, costs, and all client needs. Day to day this equates to looking after whole project lifecycles from inception to completion.

Rightsholder Management

Handling sync licensing and working with key labels, publishers, unions and artist management to ensure strong relationships. Managing and building connections with music rightsholders around the world to build and retain the partnerships that can enable us to source and license music effectively.

Music Supervision

Creative conceptualisation and execution of music placements, covers, remixes and original composition. From finding the perfect commercial track, to working closely with a composer on a remix or cover, to commissioning new music, delivering a great artist partnership, or building an exceptional OST. The role of a supervisor at Feel For Music can touch a lot of different media and formats, but a knowledge of the gaming space would really help.

Business Development

As well as managing existing clients and projects, everyone on the team is expected to help develop new work opportunities from the world of gaming, tv, film and beyond. We offer great incentives to employees that can bring in new business.

  • Manage multiple projects and time effectively

  • Excellent ability to build rapport and manage clients

  • Deep-rooted passion for music and breadth of knowledge of music, genres and artists

  • An ear for what works in different media - particularly games, trailers, and TV promos

  • Good understanding of music rights and licensing

  • Strong communication and presentation skills

  • A great network of media contacts; ideally across music, games and TV

  • Self-starting with lots of initiative and drive

  • Attention to detail

  • Useful Skills:
  • Keynote or Powerpoint presentation

  • Basic music editing

  • Experience of using Disco and Trello

  • Desktop publishing (Word and Excel)

  • Experience:
  • A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in either music, games or media.

  • Degree level education is preferred but not essential
