Full Job Description

We're seeking a Mobilisation Nurse Manager who is a nurse-led care advocate, confident in setting up care packages for adults, young people, and children.

As a Mobilisation Nurse Manager, you should be passionate about helping people with complex care needs achieve their goals.

You'll find satisfaction in overseeing all aspects of care until the packages are fully operational.

Your nursing expertise should be up-to-date, particularly in clinically supporting individuals with complex health needs like tracheostomy, ventilation, PEG, epilepsy, spinal injury, and brain injury.

Ultimately, your role aims to guarantee that new clients receive exceptional services from a well-trained, enthusiastic, and compassionate team, who can confidently maintain high standards of care independently of you.,

  • To display consistent management and leadership skills working within Superior Healthcare's core values of Passion for Quality, One Family and Inspiring Leadership.

  • Set up care packages for adults, young people and children.

  • Support the recruitment, clinical training and induction of employees into new care packages.

  • Oversee new field care team members until the package is fully operational.

  • The role will involve the recruitment of a local manager for the new package, which will be distinct from our existing operations.

  • Maintain high standards of Quality and Governance.

  • Collaborate closely with the Safeguarding Lead, offering advice and support to individuals and liaising effectively with Local Authorities and various agencies.

  • Lead the investigation process for incidents/safeguarding concerns and referrals, ensuring prompt and structured resolution in coordination with the Strategic Safeguarding Lead.

  • Working to ensure complaints/grievances, accidents and incidents are kept to a minimum, and that there is a satisfactory timely outcome for all.

  • Ensure clients' care is provided at all times it is commissioned, including working within a care package yourself if urgently required.

  • Registered Nurse with valid NMC PIN.

  • Leadership and Managerial experience or working towards a qualification.

  • Experience of assessing and coaching others.

  • Community experience.

  • Experience of looking after clients who require ventilation as well as other complex health needs such as PEG/PEJ feeding, Tracheostomy, Ventilation, PICC lines and catheterization.

  • You will have the right to work in the UK and hold a clean UK driving licence.

    As the Mobilisation Nurse Manager, you may need to be away from home for specific periods, as care packages could be located anywhere in England.
