Full Job Description

  • Develop and progress features for our next-generation real-time media transport, processing, and monitoring software.

  • Maintain our existing internal and production software products.

  • Work within a collaborative within a highly agile environment and participate in daily team prioritisation and organisation.

  • Review other team members' code contributions within an Agile development framework, giving feedback, and building and sharing knowledge.

  • An opportunity to work with our technical colleagues within some of the world's major broadcasters contributing to business-critical live broadcasts.

    Demonstrate a high level of competence with Rust, or JavaScript/Typescript (Node.js), and a good level in the other.

  • A good appreciation of media formats with demonstrable knowledge.

  • Proactive and systematic approach to problem solving.

  • Experienced with source control and collaboration through Git.

  • Experienced with Linux.

  • Eligibility to live and work in the UK, this role can be office based (Bracknell or Leeds) or hybrid in the UK.


  • We would like to see at least one of the following.
  • Demonstrable contribution to open-source projects in the domain of media or realtime processing.

  • Knowledge of real-time media transport such as SMPTE's ST2022 suite of specifications.

  • Knowledge of networking, UDP, RTP, Multicast and Unicast.

  • Proven flexibility to adapt to new techniques and languages.
