As a Marketing Support Manager operating in a complex global organization, your role involves a blend of strategic thinking, creative communication, and analytical skills. Here are the key responsibilities you would handle:

Crafting and Managing Email Campaigns:

  • Develop and execute engaging email campaigns in collaboration with subject matter experts, ensuring timely delivery and localisation through regional teams.


  • Optimise campaigns for deliverability, open rates, click-through rates, and conversions.


  • Executing and Optimising Email Marketing Strategies:
  • Align email marketing initiatives with overall business objectives and marketing strategies.

  • Streamline event emails for operational efficiency and customer experience.


  • Monitoring and Analysing Campaign Performance:
  • Utilise data metrics to evaluate campaign success and identify areas for enhancement.

  • Regularly analyse campaign performance to refine email marketing strategies.


  • List Management and Compliance:
  • Maintain a clean and engaged email list.

  • Implement best practices for list hygiene, growth, and compliance with regulations like GDPR and PECR.


  • Audience Segmentation and Personalisation:
  • Segment target audiences based on demographics and behaviour triggers.

  • Personalise email content to cater to diverse customer profiles and regional preferences.


  • Harnessing Marketing Automation Tools:
  • Streamline email marketing processes using automation tools.

  • Develop efficient workflows to enhance campaign effectiveness.


  • Collaboration with Cross-Functional Teams:
  • Collaborate closely with the Digital Marketing team, content creators, and designers to ensure cohesive messaging across all channels.


  • Staying Ahead of Trends and Technologies:

  • Stay informed about email marketing trends and cutting-edge technologies.

  • Apply new insights and leverage platform capabilities to boost campaign effectiveness.

    We are Cambridge University Press & Assessment, a world-leading academic publisher and assessment organisation and a proud part of the University of Cambridge. Right now, we are seeking a dynamic Marketing Executive to help develop, implement, and support global marketing activities in the HubSpot marketing platform including email, forms, workflows, landing pages, pop-ups, and reports., We review applications on an ongoing basis, with a closing date for all applications being 12th May. Interviews are scheduled to take place w/c 13th May 2024.
