Manufacturing Engineer

We have an opportunity for a Manufacturing Engineer to join us at Honeywell, in Portsmouth, where you will be responsible for identifying opportunities and implementing solutions for improved production methods to gain capacity, cost and yield benefits whilst enhancing uptime, ensuring existing and new products are manufactured and tested using the best tools and techniques available, and providing leadership and vision for the internal operation of Portsmouth manufacturing engineering. This role is 100% on-site at our Portsmouth location. Key Responsibilities:Develop processes which improve product quality as seen by the customer.Develop processes which improve internal yields throughout the manufacturing process.Promote HOS / Lean initiatives.To develop reliable cost-effective processes for New Products on time to budget that meet forecast demand at planned cost to agreed quality standards.Reduce direct and indirect costs within manufacturing.
