Full Job Description

To oversee the Business Planning activities across Creative, including BAU operational business requirements, and supporting the Chief Creative Officer in the delivery of all operational projects. Establishing and leading business governance to optimise the Creative budget and headcount allocation ensuring policy adherence and cross pillar optimisation is delivered. Responsible for compliance for the Creative function, interfacing with internal and external stakeholders and applying a proactive approach to safeguarding, policy and risks.,

  • Responsible for leading all business and operational activities within the Creative chapter, including planning, finance, governance, reporting processes, procurement, recruitment, information management and data analytics

  • Responsible for all compliance and process audit activity (QMS, GDPR, TBEM) and has ownership of sustainability efforts and reporting for the function. Creative has four studios, on premise workshop facilities as well as remote locations which all require compliance adherence. Every sub department needs to be audited regularly to ensure adherence to IATF standards

  • Leads business intelligence for Creative, providing Data Analytics expertise for the chapter and driving a cultural shift towards data driven decision making.

  • Establish business governance for Creative to set financial targets and follow up reviews with the pillar leads. Representing Creative with external chapters relating to operational planning activities. Utilises comprehensive knowledge of company's internal operations to develop forward-looking focus for business

  • Responsible for developing and implementing complex forecasting models, budgets, resource allocation

  • Responsible for consolidation of resource demand for Creative working with HR, Finance and External recruitment to justify demand and deliver mechanisms to build the capability/capacity of the chapter

  • Develop a robust Annual Business Review process for planning and management of all budgets for Creative, including Resource, Revenue, Capital and IT budget plans

  • Works closely with supporting functions across JLR including (but not limited to) Finance, Digital, HR, Compliance, Legal, etc. in order to deliver business planning, compliance and governance activity for Creative

  • Collaborates with the Business Managers within Creative to ensure all business management activity is completed in a seamless and complementary way, sharing best practice and identifying continuous improvements

  • Responsible for developing and reviewing existing operations and management controls, including standard practices, operating procedures, management systems and reporting documentation. To achieve greater operations efficient and cost effectiveness

  • Hires, mentors and manages a team that consistently delivers on the BAU activities within the Creative function

  • Responsible for overall team performance and health, resource allocation and building a culture of excellence

    Relevant experience of running business planning, compliance, risk management tools and approaches and proven track record of leading teams effectively

  • Ability to lead the resolution of business, process and audit issues

  • Strong knowledge of up-to-date industry processes, standards, laws, and regulations

  • Strong Data Visualisation skills

  • Able to demonstrate capability in Leadership and Management skills, able to motivate and lead across teams to resolve cross-functional issues.

  • Excellent business acumen with experience of managing programme-level finances

  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
