Full Job Description

We are looking for an enthusiastic, highly motivated individual to lead our Leasehold Management, Right to Buy, Right to Acquire, Shared Ownership and Private Rented Sector Services.

This is an exciting opportunity within the Council and you will be responsible for in delivering an excellent leasehold management support service including advice and support on; staircasing, resales, right to buy and right to acquire services with robust financial controls. Ensuring annual service charge and Section 20 consultations are carried out in line with legislation and for the collection of all monies. You will manage the service to deal with a range of leasehold management enquires and permissions, providing expert advice and support and handling escalations / complex queries.

Working in a busy and challenging environment you will need to be methodical in your work, posses excellent interpersonal skills and be able to solve complex problems and make analytical judgements and reasons in line with policies and housing legislation. We require an individual that will continue to evolve the service with innovation and creativity.

A broad level of experience (including at senior level) in leasehold management within a local authority or social landlord administering and collecting service charges is an advantage., Disability Confident
