Full Job Description

  • Review customer and product management requirements and provide solutions.

  • Design, code, and unit test software.

  • Developing product features for current and future requirements.

  • Introduce new technologies and process and promote the use of suitable ones.

  • Install, configure, troubleshoot and support new & existing software.

    Good analytical skills.

  • Knowledge of best practice software engineering processes and techniques.

  • HTML5.

  • Javascript.


    • Desirable Skills:
  • Software Engineering, Mathematical or Scientific based degree.

  • 1 year or more commercial experience in software development.

  • SQL (MySQL, SQL Server).

  • Java.

    At Pukka-j we have been developing specialist software for the medical industry for over 20 years, with our software used in hospitals throughout the UK. We are looking for an enthusiastic software developer to join our small development team at our new Darlington office.

    Flexible working hours (Core hours are 10am - 4pm).

  • 25 days holidays + Statutory holidays.
