IT Director

We are looking for a hands-on CTO to focuses on developing technological products/services to the company's needs, driving external innovation and product design provide sound technical leadership in all aspects of the business.,

• Define and execute the development roadmap for the various company operational platforms, aligned with product strategy and business objectives.


• Oversee the development lifecycle, from technical design to development, testing, and deployment.


• Implement and maintain best practices for software development, including agile methodologies, continuous integration/continuous delivery, coding and code quality assurance.


• Partner closely with the product management function to understand and translate user needs into technical requirements.


• Develop and implement cloud strategies, including selecting appropriate cloud service providers and managing cloud resources.


• Provide technical support to developers, addressing their queries and concerns promptly and effectively.


• Set performance goals, conduct regular performance evaluations, and provide constructive feedback.


• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and define project scopes.


• Develop and enforce coding standards, security policies, and data protection measures.


• Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, industry standards, and legal requirements.


• Implement disaster recovery plans and business continuity strategies.
  
  Need to speak / understand Asian language particularly if fluent in Mandarin and Cantonese preferred.


• Lead from a hands-on perspective and select, procure, and implement tools.


• Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.


• Extensive experience in software development, coding, and application architecture.


• Proficiency in mainstream programming languages such as Java, Python, C#, or JavaScript.


• Strong knowledge of cloud platforms like Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.


• Familiarity with cloud deployment models, including Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS), Platform as a Service (PaaS), and Software as a Service (SaaS).


• Proven experience in managing and leading development teams.


• Excellent project management and organizational skills.


• Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.


• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills., Information Technology: 3 years (preferred)


• IT Management: 3 years (preferred)
