IT Apprentice

As an IT Apprentice focusing on the Azure Fundamentals, you will embark on an exciting journey of discovery, diving into the world of cloud computing with a specific focus on Microsoft Azure. There will also be opportunities to work on clients on-premises environments, not only cloud-based environments. This apprenticeship is designed for individuals leaving school/college and eager to kickstart their career in IT. If you're passionate about technical problem-solving, enjoy tinkering with PCs/laptops or have even built your own gaming rig at home, and have a hunger for learning, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.

• Learn to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues


• Collaborate with experienced IT professionals to gain experience and practical knowledge.


• Participate in training sessions and workshops to develop expertise in the Azure fundamentals (supported by a mentor at QA apprenticeships)


• Provide excellent customer service and support to clients, demonstrating professionalism and empathy in all interactions.


• Assist with administrative tasks relating to the maintenance and upkeep of client's infrastructures.
  
  A passion for technology and a keen interest in cloud computing.


• Basic knowledge of PC hardware, software, and operating systems.


• Strong problem-solving skills and a logical approach to troubleshooting.


• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-centric mindset.


• Ability to work well independently and as part of a team.


• A willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment., 3 GCSEs (or equivalent) at grades 4+ (A-C) in any subject


• GCSE Maths and English (or equivalents) at grades 3+ (D or above)


• Prospective apprentices must not hold an existing qualification at the same or higher level as this apprenticeship is in a similar subject


You may also have a combination of qualifications and experience which demonstrate the minimum foundation needed for the programme. In this instance you could still be considered for the programme.

If you hold international equivalents of the above qualifications, at the time of your application you must be able to provide an official document that states how your international qualifications compare to the UK qualifications.
