Full Job Description

  • Operating injection moulding machines to produce parts to meet our customer's needs and specifications

  • Assembly operations

  • Quality inspection and checking

  • Tool engineering and design, The role is responsible for the initial set up of the mould tools at the beginning of a production run and is a technical "go to" person and key problem solver on the production shift. The setter works closely with the shift leader to achieve right first time and on time operational performance within a safe working environment. Full details are in the role description., We are recruiting a multi-skilled Maintenance Technician to support our maintenance activities across our facilities based in Gateshead and Washington. This is a permanent, full-time role working as part of our Maintenance and Facilities Team., Reactive and planned machine maintenance - responding quickly to machinery breakdowns to ensure optimum production performance, minimising equipment downtime through a proactive approach to all continuous improvement strategies and supporting root cause analysis.

  • - Support the NPI process and function with maintenance-related information and activities to ensure a smooth introduction and handover of new products and manufacturing processes.
    - Deliver activities in accordance with the site facilities plan.

    All candidates must be currently eligible to live and work in the UK., This is a full-time, permanent role with an immediate start directly employed by us, based at our site on Bentall Business Park in Washington.

    Pay is £11.40 per hour for day shift (37.5 hours per week). Shifts are on a 3 shift rotation pattern of days, backs and nights. You will receive shift allowance increases for back shift and night shift.

    There will occasionally be overtime and we ask for flexibility in being available for this. Overtime is paid at 1.5 x normal rate for the shift., We offer a competitive salary and benefits package and invest in the training and development our colleagues.
