HSEC & Training Coordinator

We're seeking an experienced HSEC / Training Coordinator with the same drive and motivation, willing to play an important and integral role in the development and providing high level support for the project.

• Minimum skills and expectations for the HSEC / Training Coordinator ;


• Drive the development and implementation of proactive frontline HSEC strategies and initiatives in consultation with site management representatives;


• Analyse HSEC performance and drive a HSEC culture by developing frontline leaders in HSEC leadership and the ownership of HSEC responsibilities across the operation;


• Coordinate the site HSEC / Training team activities to ensure the team remains on task and focussed on meeting all legislative, and Mastermyne HSEC requirements;


• Implement and review the operation Risk Register and Safety Health Management System (SHMS) to maintain alignment with critical risks and HSEC Management.


• This role has a reporting line to the on-site SSE as part of the contractor operation and the GM HSEC for corporate requirements
  
  The ability to utilise investigative and audit tools and processes;


• Underground coal mining experience;


• An in-depth understanding of Coal legislation and standards;


• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
