As a member of our team you will be supported to continue your own development with a thriving education agenda across MFT and locally, active health and wellbeing and equality, diversity and inclusion programmes championed by Pharmacy staff, and the opportunity to network and build peer support across the wider Trust.

If you have a passion for delivering excellent patient care, great leadership and supporting development of your colleagues, this may be the perfect opportunity for you. We would love to hear from you. Previous band 8a experience is not essential, we are open to supporting and developing the right person - please have a chat with us if you are a current band 7 considering your next steps post-diploma.

To promote the responsible, safe , clinically-effective and cost-effective use of medicines within the division.

To support education and development of medical, nursing and pharmacy staff in your role as Highly Specialist Pharmacist for Medicine.

You will develop your leadership and management skills within Pharmacy, and as a senior member of the Medical Team will be expected to deputise for the 8b Lead Pharmacist when required.

In addition to having a passion for Medicine you must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work as part of a team whilst also managing your own workload. You must be able to manage and motivate others and have the ability to influence the multidisciplinary team and engage with key stakeholders.
